Arrugas

The first wrinkle was actually exciting, because I’m the sort of woman who can really appreciate the gift of living long enough to get a wrinkle.  BUT, the second, third, and fourth wrinkles that quickly sprung up in the following months were NOT charming in any way.  Even less so when I started being able to notice them in photos (I had to zoom in a bit, but still, they were there!)

Now I come from a long line of fantastically-aging women and have always had a young look; I’ve been off caffeine for months, I drink plenty of water and tea with antioxidants; my diet is varied and healthful; I rarely even see the sun… but I don’t feel I have any time for more than one step skincare routine and haven’t since, oh, before college.  Could that be it?  Tell me what to do, dear readers!  I can’t have more wrinkles than kids!

  • it’s like the white hair, isn’t it? except there’s hair dye for white hair.

you can just slather on the lotion. if you want to splurge, try la mer. in the middle are products from kiehl’s. cheaper than that is pond’s. i think lotion is one of the most important things (other than drinking lots of water and staying out of the sun, things you alredy do).

now–you probably look WONDERFUL so my suggestions are not to affirm whether or not you are as wrinkly as you say!

  • I’m feeling the same way! Too much sun growing up, I think, and I’m not a product-savy person, so I don’t do more than rub some hand lotion under my eyes. I guess I need to check out jadepark’s suggestions.

  • Thanks for the recommendations, Jadepark! right now, I wash my face in the shower, and that, sadly, is it for my skincare regimen. I’ll be checking out the products you mentioned along with Kate.
